We began a project to record where our teams have installed Raincatchers around Seguin. Checkout what we’ve mapped so far:

I am a professional conservationist and from what I understand about your organization, you are not TEACHING the local people how to build their own rain catchers. Wouldn’t this be a more cost-effective approach? Just think of how far of a reach your organization would have if THEY learned how to do this for THEMSELVES! You seem to waste your money on sending westerners to Haiti, rather than organizing workshops (1-2 people could lead these) and using the funds raised to buy supplies for workshop participants. I will not donate to organizations who do not focus on building capacity in local people.nn1

Water is life.

RainCatchers is able to help people in Haiti only because of donations from people who believe in what we do and want to make a real difference. By helping fund our efforts, you can help give life to people in Haiti. [ Donate Now ]
